We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. Registering for the Cupano newsletter enables the user to keep in regular contact with the Cupano activities, to enjoy exclusive content and receive early notice of events of interest to our users. In order to register, the user must provide some personal details, which may include a name and surname and an email address. The information provided can be modified at any time.

With the consent of the user, Cupano directly reserves the right to propose information and promotional material through Cupano website and tools associated with it, to be sent by post, fax or email. With the consent of the user, the personal details will be included in a database of addresses.​

Moreover, the user’s personal details may be communicated for the purposes set out above to internal and/or external persons deputed to the task by our Society, including: staff in the administrative sector (accounts, secretariat, etc.), staff in our press office and library, the technicians responsible for maintaining our IT system.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. ​

The IT systems and software procedures set up to make this website work, acquire some personal data as part of their normal operation, the transmission of which are implicit in the use of Internet communications protocols. This information is not gathered to be associated with identified parties, but through their very nature they, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify the users. IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by the users to connect to the site fall within this category, together with URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, the time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the digital code indicating the status of the date response from the server (successful conclusion, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the operating system and user’s computer environment. These data are used solely to glean anonymous statistical information concerning the use of the site and to control its correct functioning. They are cancelled immediately after processing. The data could be used for establishing responsibility in the case of hypothetical IT violations at the expense of the site; except in this eventuality, the data on web contacts are not kept for more than seven days.Data supplied voluntarily by the user for the use of the servicesThe processing to which the data shall be submitted will be effected in conformity with current law and exclusively for the delivery, in paper or electronic form, of promotional material of the events organised. The consent given is deemed to be valid until express revocation, which must be communicated by email to cupano@cupano.it or by letter sent to our address.

 

Cookies

Cookies are not used for the transmission of personal information, and no persistent cookies of any type are used (systems for tracing users). Session cookies (which are not memorised in persistent manner on the user’s computer and instead vanish when the browser is closed) are strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (comprising random numbers generated by the server), needed to enable safe and efficient exploration of the site. The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques that might potentially be prejudicial to the confidentiality of the user’s navigation, and do not enable the acquisition of personal data that might identify the user.

 

Nature of the conferment of data and consequences in case of refusal

The conferment of one’s personal details is optional until requested for the fulfilment of legal or contractual obligations. In the case of refusal on the part of the user to provide the details or consent to their being processed, it may be impossible to send our information, promotional material and publicity. This refusal will have no consequence on the other services we provide.

Rights of the interested party

In his quality as interested party, the user shall be accorded the rights set out in para. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, including the right to receive confirmation of the existence or absence of any personal details concerning him, the right to have these details updated, corrected or added to, the right to have them cancelled or transformed into an anonymous form, the right to have any data processed in violation of the law blocked, the right to oppose the processing his personal details for legitimate reasons, and the right to oppose any processing of personal details for the purpose of receiving information, promotional material and publicity. The rights set out above may be exercised upon the data controller.
